*****THIS PAGE IS A LITTLE TEMPERAMENTAL AT THE MOMENT - IF IT DOESN'T WORK STRAIGHT AWAY FOR YOU JUST MESSAGE OR CALL US ON 0117 9633891****
We are working on revising our booking system at the moment, until then we have done a bit of an elastoplast job to help us cope with lumpy staffing, high demand and Dan's general disorderly nature- let's hope it performs adequately....
We have simplified the bookings for now. Here are your options:
Service - if you are after a general or full service - This is done on the day you book so suitable for commuters so you can get your bike back as quickly as possible when you bring in the bike we can discuss what you need and the cost, if you are not sure just book this to ensure we have the time to spend on your bike., we can always downgrade if needed.
Repair - repairs or a 'check & tune'. If it turns out it needs more we will either try to work it into the diary or put it in the general queue.
Puncture Repair - puncture or anything that you know is super quick like brake pads etc
Just book it in - if you aren't bothered how long it will take or you want to get it into us as soon as possible. We don't offer a timescale for these bookings. We will open these up on a daily basis depending on how busy we are.
Now - Here's the bit where we might get confused...
Any jobs to go to the shop in Long Ashton, choose "LA Repair" - we have limited functionality there at the moment, so will not be doing full or general servicing and some of the heavier repairs. If your bike needs a service, we may need to take the bike to the workshop to do there, so expect delays as the bike will just go into the general queue. Small jobs like repairs and tuning will be done straight away. This is just temporary measure while we finish cobbling the shop together.
*****IF YOU CAN'T FIND ANYTHING SUITABLE PICK UP THE PHONE OR JUST DROP IN*****
Hopefully the menu speaks for itself
Here's a brief guide to decide what you want to book
1. - If you don't know what to book or would like an estimate first, book an 'assessment' appointment. It doesn't cost anything
2 - If you know exactly what is needed book that.
*****Whatever you book, is just to get the time into the diary, we will always want to discuss the work with you when you bring in the bike anyway, so you aren't committing yourself with a service type, duration or cost*****
Mountain Bikes - This category specifically applies to high end/modern mountain bikes with 1x drivetrains, suspension, hydraulics and linkages. If you have a mountain bike with cable brakes, for example, this is treated like a hybrid - this is not bike snobbery, but the way the mechanics work and the level of expertise needed.
IMPORTANT: Anything under 2 hours is not a bike service, but more a repair, tune up or specific area service like headset, bottom bracket. If you want a bike service, which should be done once every year or two especially if you ride a lot, you should select general or full service.
Please note that these jobs are largely time based. We may have to adjust the service up or down depending on the bike (e.g. if it's in excellent or dreadful condition or if it's a TT bike)
If you are unsure contact us for guidance on what we can do for you or what appointment to book.
